With space being as dangerous as it is, there are countless ways for sentient life to perish while exploring the unknown.  Medical technology has advanced with leaps and bounds, from new drugs and medicines to new types of tools. Sadly, due to the ever-present danger of death, autopsy tools likewise have grown and changed.

Gamble Industries knew that in the depths of space, hardy tools were required when it comes to dissecting the dead to find out what killed them. As such they created a line of powerful autopsy tools, which could be used to cut through suits and armor in order to get at the flesh and bone beneath.

The was designed to be held comfortably in the hand, the handle being of molded reinforced plastic with rubber grips. The battery is stored in the handle and it is designed to be ambidextrous.  An easily accessible switch on the top of the device allows the user to turn it on and off.  A stainless steel tube is situated at the front of the device, from which two prong-like protrusions are found.

It is from these protrusions that the laser beam is generated. It can cut through most materials with ease, and as such has found itself to be often used as an improvised melee weapon. When the Xeno-Necro outbreaks began to appear more and more often, many of these devices were modified to be used in combat with the Xeno-Necros.
