A lie is a subtle weapon when whispered from the lips of a master courtier, but your heroes (and villains) don't have time for subtle weapons. They want to carpet bomb their opponents with lies! When it comes time for saturated deception and social chaos, look no further than none of lies.

Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)

Area 20-ft.-radius emanation

Duration 1 min./level

Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes

Creatures within the emanation area (or those who enter it) can't speak the truth and must pepper every statement when lies. Each potentially affected creature is allowed a save to avoid the effects when the spell is cast or when the creature first enters the emanation area. Affected creatures are aware of this enchantment. Therefore, they may avoid speaking when they would normally respond with the truth, or they may tell lies so ridiculous there is no chance they would be believed, though they risk looking like they are mad. Creatures who leave this area are free to speak as they choose.

Zone of lies counters and dispells zone of truth and vice versa.
