Knowledge is a powerful tool. The mutant has the ability to absorb another creature’s memories and knowledge through a very disturbing method – by consuming another creature’s brain.

If the creature in question is not already dead, the act of eating its brain will most certainly kill it in the process. There are two other functions of this mutation. The first function of this mutation is that after the brain has been consumed, the mutant is able to ask 6 plus the power score modifier (negatives will affect this!) questions of the ML. The questions have to be something that the creature would have known in life and have to be answered truthfully. Optionally, this can be used to ‘teach’ the mutant how to use. This uses the same basis as determining how many questions can be asked. The maximum length of time that the creature can have been dead is equal to half the power score (rounded down) in hours.

The second function is that the mutant can instead of asking questions of the dead; they can temporarily absorb up to their power score modifier (if they have negatives or a zero modifier, this ability cannot be used) in mental mutations from the dead creature and use them. The power score of any mutations gained through this method is equal to the dead creatures power score, and the mutations will last for a number of hours equal to half of the power score of this mutation (rounded down).
