An unseen savant is an invisible, shapeless force that possesses broad knowledge and answers academic questions. It has your base speed (if you have multiple base speeds, choose one), follows you as well as its basic locomotion allows unless commanded to do otherwise, and always endeavors to stay close enough to whisper in your ear. It can be commanded to answer questions in a whisper or at a normal speaking voice, but cannot shout, scream, or project. It will also only answer questions and cannot be ordered to imitate sounds or deliver messages, though it can be commanded to answer a question spoken by another within range. It has an intelligence of 10, is trained in all Knowledge skills, and has a number of ranks in all Knowledge skills equal to half your caster level (minimum 1) + your spellcasting ability score modifier. The GM rolls all Knowledge skill checks for the savant in secret. While the savant possesses a great deal of broad knowledge, it is not clairvoyant and cannot answer questions that are not scholarly, academic, or drawn from the common lore.

The savant cannot attack in any way; it is never allowed an attack roll. It cannot be killed, but it dissipates if it takes 6 points of damage from area attacks. (It gets no saves against attacks.) If you attempt to send it beyond the spell's range (measured from your current position), the savant ceases to exist.
