New BASH Datafile - Something a Little Different - A Banth!!!
Because it's Monday, and because I ran a Sky Tyrants of Mars campaign using BASH, and because I love Banths as a really nasty monster.
On Barsoom they are basically desert sharks of the kind that sharks aren't in real life, but are in the writing of Benchley and Hollywood film - always hungry, always lurking and terrifying.
The art is from the much maligned John Carter film [don't know the artist, sorry], but I like the look of this thing. Don't get me wrong, I also love the traditional Frazetta banth's more leonine appearance too. The alien-ness of this image grabs me. Feel free to use whichever picture terrifies better.
