This is the Rakanth, the personal ship of the Barsoomian Corsair. In naval terms of the period, it could be called a barque - fast and maneuverable. a light ship capable of carrying a crew of up to one hundred or so, perfect for hunting fat merchantmen and escaping from their escort cruisers.
