Kickstarter Project Update #2: Halfway There!

Following is one of the periodic updates we have been sending out about our "Swords of Kos Fantasy Campaign Setting" Kickstarter campaign! Please check out this great project, see all the terrific rewards we are offering, and consider coming on board as a backer. A pledge of even $1 will make you an investor in a very worthwhile gaming project!

Skirmisher Publishing LLC is now halfway through its "Swords of Kos Campaign Setting" Kickstarter! That applies both to us having reached the midpoint of the 30-day campaign and to now being 50% of the way toward our fundraising goal. As always, we would like to thank everyone who has come on board as a backer and taken us this far.

* For those interested in material for their role-playing games, we have just posted fresh content tying in with the Kos campaign setting to the Skirmisher online forum. New items include three new OGL/Pathfinder Feats, Citizen of Kos, Level 1, Citizen of Kos, Level 2, and Citizen of Kos, Level 3.

* Be sure to check out the third and most recent video on our Kickstarter page, in which publisher Michael Varhola discusses the project and reads an excerpt from his affiliated novel, "Swords of Kos: Necropolis" (thanks to John Kadolph for shooting this footage and to Will Thrasher for compiling the video).

* At the rate we are currently receiving pledges, we will exactly reach our goal of $3,000 when the campaign ends on the evening of September 5. We thus want to increase the rate at which we are raising funds, both so that we won't have to worry about falling short by a few dollars at the end and so that we can attempt to reach some of our stretch goals -- including giving hardcover rather than softcover books to everyone who pledges $40 or more! Remember, backers who pledge $20 will receive a PDF copy of the "Swords of Kos Campaign Setting" sourcebook and those who pledge $40 will receive both it and the print edition, and additional rewards come at each of the higher levels.

* Please help get out the word about this great project! Clicking "Like" and "Share" on our posts on Facebook if you have a presence there is a good way to accomplish this and mentioning us on your own pages and sites can really help as well. And please tell friends, especially those who might be interested in some of the rewards we are offering, about the campaign. Remember, if we exceed our basic goal, eligible backers will receive stretch rewards at no additional cost!

* Comments and questions are welcome! There is a link for posting comments right at the top of our Kickstarter page, and you can post any questions you might have there or email them to d20@skirmisher.com.

That's it for now! Thanks again for your support of our efforts to create a beautiful, detailed, full-illustrated swords-and-sorcery campaign setting sourcebook that we can all be proud of.
