‘At the Shrine of Othrys’ Update #6: Awesome Projects We Are Backing!

We are not the only ones doing fun and interesting things on Kickstarter right now! So, in the spirit of building community and getting out the word about other great projects, we wanted to share with you a number of live campaigns that we are currently backing and would encourage you to check out.

My Dear Bride is a 5E spectral adventure where the party is invited to be bodyguards at a wedding. When the organ sounds a gloomy melody for the bride's entrance, however, the environment around them changes, blending the real world with the world of darkness and leaving players in the middle of an evil plot that has already caused thousands of deaths! Battlemaps and tokens are included.

LITTLE WORLDS is devoted to providing some really beautiful neoprene game mats that depict a variety of terrain and encounter areas — including a Warcamp, Tavern, Mountain Pass (our personal favorite), Swamp, Treasure Trove, and a huge Castle — and which can be used with any RPG or miniature games.

Dungeons & Dimwits: Critical Miss is a definitive collection of one-panel comics by James Mascia and artist Kodaris that details the funny and absurd things we all experience when playing Tabletop RPGs. Some of the images in it really resonate with us and bring back memories of things that have happened in our own games!

The Convergence is a live-play RPG show that features an all-star cast of streamers and an original story that combines fantasy, post-apocalyptic, and alternate reality elements and which will be played using 5th Edition D&D.

Vastral's Guide to Magical Oddities for 5E, from the terrific Grinning Frog, is a collection of unique magic items that includes backstories, reputation, power changes based on condition, repair details, locations, and full stats.

Calixtinus is a Medieval RPG video game that allows players to immerse themselves in an epic adventure through all the stages of the Camino de Santiago, “the way of Saint James,” which begins in France and continues across northern Spain. Those of you familiar with Skirmisher Publishing probably know that we have a number of pilgrimage-oriented titles and so this one really caught our eye.

We also want to thank to the 150 people who have thus far backed the Kickstarter campaign for our own “At the Shrine of Othrys” fantasy RPG and fiction project and twelve days in funded it 146%! We are in the process of unlocking the colorful and exciting stretch goals we have created for this project so please help spread the word about it so that no one who might be interested in it will miss out. And if you have not yet backed “At the Shrine of Othrys” please check it out and come on board with it so that you can enjoy all of the great things we are doing with it!
