Special Abilities
Natural Climber (Ex): The Phillak spends its life in mountains and foothills and has become a natural climber. It can climb any surface, even perfectly vertical, and gains a racial bonus of +20 to athletics (climb)
Ram (Ex): As a full round action, the Phillak is able to charge at any single target it can see. The creature gains double its regular movement, and is allowed to make a melee attack. If the attack succeeds, the Phillak will inflict 1d12+7 B damage (instead of the usual head-butt damage), and any target struck must make a Ref save (DC 13) or be knocked prone.
Phillak are medium sized creatures, which have adapted to life living in mountainous regions. They grow thick coats of fur to help protect them from the cold temperatures typically found in these regions, and have three massive horns growing from their heads. The average specimen is around 6 feet from tip of their nose to their rear and can weigh in excess of 200 pounds, but despite their size, these creatures are shockingly agile! They have been seen climbing vertical cliff-faces as if they were strolling across a perfectly flat ledge, moving far faster than anyone witnessing would think possible.
Being solitary, they cannot accept the intrusion of any creature into their personal territory, even others of their own kind – except during mating season. They will attack any creature they see, and do their best to either knock the target off the face of the mountain, or scaring them away, forcing the intruder to leave.
Herbivore by nature, the creatures live off plant-life, moss and lichen that are common and abundant in the mountain regions.
