Acid Spit (Ex): As a standard action, the creature can shoot a stream of acid at any target within 45 ft. This is a ranged attack at +8 to hit. If it hits, the target suffers 1d4+3 acid damage (crit corrode 1d3). The creature can use this every round.
Clinging (Ex): The creature is able to move along any surface thanks to tiny tendrils covering legs. The creature gains a +10 to all climbing checks, and can move its full movement rate while climbing.
Explosive Death (Ex): When the creature is killed, it will immediately explode, splashing everything within a 20 ft. radius with acid. Those caught in the area of effect must make a Ref save (DC 12) or suffer 1d4+3 points of acid damage. A successful save results in half damage.
A deadly creature that is surprisingly hardy creature that can grow to the size of a man. They are primarily live in burrows, but can be found almost anywhere, thanks to their ability to climb. They do not like the cold, and will go into hibernation during the winter season, but in tropical locations, they are active year around.
They project poisonous acid saliva at any targets they can see within 45 feet. This can often ruin clothing, armor, weapons or equipment. To make matters worse, when the creatures are killed, they will explode, covering a small area with this venomous acid.
It should be noted that these creatures are immune to this acid, so if one dies and explodes, it will not harm others that are near it.
Creatures killed by these vermin are taken back to their lairs, where the bodies are injected with the acid. This will quickly turn the internal organs and other viscera into a thick goo, which the creatures will then suck up, gaining the nutrients they require from the remains.
