Ramkin in 5E: People of Wool & Wonder

SheepBarbarian.jpg

Liven up ypur 5E campaign with the ramkin, a people who combine the traits of humans with sheep.

One of the many people who combine the traits of humans with animals, the ramkin are humanoid sheep. Their bodies are covered in insulating wool and horns adorn their heads. Adult male's horns are prominent and curving like those of common rams, while female horns are typically small, goat-like, and often concealed beneath a thick head of wool, though there are many exceptions, particularly among the hill tribes. Ramkin are roughly evenly split between nomadic and sedentary groups and typically make their living as herders and crafters. Ramkin make several products from their own wool, but typically for their own use, such as kilts and sashes dyed to display clan or tribal affiliation. Any other humanoid wearing an item of authentic ramkin wool has either earned the deepest respect of a ramkin or is a thief of the worst sort. Ramkin who live in densely populated areas often dye their body wool in garish colors to stand out from the crowd and display affiliation and rank in a group other than their own clan.
