Plant Mutation Drawback: Rotting Flesh

Chris Van Deelen

Rotting Flesh (drawback)

Type: Plant

Frequency: Rare

Power Score: No

Range: Personal

Duration: Permanent

AI Recognition: None

Damage: None

Uses: Constant

If the plant does not already have the animal parts or organs mutation, this mutation is dormant (or the ML can either roll or pick another plant drawback) If the plant does indeed have the required mutation, the plants natural healing is reduced by one plus power point modifier (note natural healing rate can never drop below one point per day) and suffers a penalty per power point modifier to reaction rolls due to the appearance and corresponding smell. Any regenerative mutation loses potency, suffering a permanent penalty to its power score equal to five plus the power score modifier of this drawback. Optionally the ML can increase the frequency of random encounters with scavengers and carrion eaters due to the scent the creature gives off.
