Chris Van Deelen

Epilepsy (drawback)

Type: Mental

Frequency: Common

Power Score: Yes

Range: Personal

Duration: Five plus half the power score rounds.

AI Recognition: None

Damage: 1d2 plus the power score modifier per round

Uses: Constant

A genetic defect that has been the scourge of humankind for uncounted generations, the defect had finally been cured and eliminated by the Ancients. After the final wars, the genetic defect made a comeback and has become common-place in the wastelands.  Although typically caused by randomly flashing lights, almost anything can trigger an attack. Whenever the mutant is exposed to lasers, flashing lights, or becomes stressed, the mutant must make a saving throw versus death; with a negative equal to the power score modifier (negatives will give a bonus!). If the save fails the mutant will fall prone to the ground and writhe in convulsions for the duration. Unless somehow restrained, the mutant will suffer physical damage per round.
