Mental Mutation Drawback: Emotional Disconnection

Chris Van Deelen

Emotional Disconnection (drawback)

Type: Mental

Frequency: Uncommon

Power Score: Yes

Range: Personal

Duration: Permanent

AI Recognition: None

Damage: None

Uses: Constant

The mutant has no emotions what so ever. It is completely cold and many people who encounter it consider the mutant to be machine-like.  The advantage of this is that the mutant is immune to any form of attack that involves emotion, such as fear generation. The disadvantage of this is that the mutant suffers a two plus the power score modifier (minimum of 0) to all reaction rolls due to its being completely emotionless – except when dealing with robotic units or other creatures which are also emotionless, then the reaction will be normal.
