These creatures are in fact the result of an offshoot of the Walking Dead virus, which has created so many different types of zombies.

Looking upon one of the creatures, the viewer would swear they are dealing with some sort of primitive tribal, who happens to have a thing for armor made out of bone. The chest and stomach is completely encased in hard bone, as well as the neck and the head. Only the face remains clear of bone. The arms and legs have plates of bone as well as spikes growing out in random directions. The teeth are longer and jagged compared to  that of a normal human. The finger and Toe bones have grown so long and sharp they jut from the tips of the appendages.

Like the walking dead, these creatures have only one desire – to feed. As such these beings are constantly on the search for food and will attack anything they find, but prefer Pure Humans and Humans above all other prey. After all it is part of the virus to spread and infect, and anyone possessing any sort of mutation or who is not human are immune to the virus. It has been noted that even minor alterations in the genetic code, such as those found in Exotics and similar genetic races are likewise immune.

They are still living, breathing monstrosities and as such are fully vulnerable to toxins, poisons and radiation, but due to the thick growth of bone, they are very difficult to harm. When they find suitable prey or if they are simply hungry, the creatures will attack without thought to personal safety or any sort of tactics. They will choose one target and attack until the target is down, and then they will move onto the next target and so forth until all potential targets have been dispatched. Only at this time will the infected creature stop to feed.

In combat the creature will bite and claw at targets, getting three attacks per round. If any of the attacks break the skin, the target, if they are human or pure human, must make a saving throw versus poison or become infected with the virus. Anyone attacking these creatures in return will discover that all physical attacks have little or not effect. The creatures have a damage reduction of 15 against all manner of attack. Toxins, poisons, radiation, mental, energy and explosives all bypass this damage reduction.

Anyone who fails the saving throw versus poison will suffer 1d4 points of Intelligence loss per six hours. Once the Intelligence reaches zero, they are forever lost and are now a deadly predator. Before this happens if the disease is cured, the lost Intelligence will return at the victim’s natural healing rate per hour. It should be likewise noted the victim is contagious at this point and if it bites or scratches another person, they must likewise save or become infected.

When the victims intelligence hits zero, another metabolic change beings. They are ravenously hungry and need to eat flesh and bone. Over the next seventy-two hours the body will grow a thick sheath of bone, gaining a damage reduction of 5 for every twenty four hours. If any sort of drug is administered at this time, it will still destroy the virus and it will prevent the creature from growing the bone armor, but the mind is still gone and cannot be restored except by exceptional means.

One strange side-effect of this virus is the creatures are effectively immortal. As long as they can consume food and are not killed, there are specimens who were originally turned during the final wars.

They have no sense of self; they have no sense of community or tribe. They will hunt together in loose packs where prey is plentiful, but otherwise will have no interaction with one another. All they want is food and to spread the virus. As such they will continue to attack until either all targets have been destroyed, or they have been killed.

Mutations: Aberrant form (natural weapons), damage reduction (all physical attacks), natural armor (modified), toxic weapon.
