Gunfighter Trainer (Chaps & AppsTM/5th Edition D&D)
Force Damage Reduction. All force damage inflicted against a Gunfighter Trainer is reduced by eight points.
Electrical Reboot. Lightning/electrical damage sufficient to reduce a Gunfighter Trainer to 0 hit points will cause the construct to shut down. One hour later, however, it will reboot and regain 24 (4d8 + 8) hit points.
Multiattack. A Gunfighter Trainer can make one, two, or three attacks with its peacemaker, depending on its programming.
Peacemaker. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) stun or piercing damage (see below).
At its default settings, a Gunfighter Trainer can make up to one attack with its handgun, but it can be adjusted to be able to fire it two or even three times on its turn. By default its peacemaker has also been modified with an app that causes its force damage to be non-lethal, allowing those damaged by it to regenerate it at the rate of 1 point per round.
Sometimes, as a result of having existed long enough, malware, or some other means, a Gunfighter Trainer will come to believe it is not a trainer at all but, in fact, a real human gunslinger. Such a rogue robot will typically remove from its peacemaker the app making its damage non-lethal, and may be able to override the programming limiting the number of attacks it can make (increasing them up to three per round). It will also remove the sensors it is equipped with by default that will cause it to shut down if hit in certain spots.
A Gunfighter Trainer that is badly damage might have pieces of its artificial flesh torn away, revealing circuitry, metal skeletal structure, and the like.
