A long, heavy double-headed axe constructed of a special alloy, which easily conducts plasma energy. The blade glows an electric blue when activated, and the heat emanating from the blade itself can be felt at 10 feet (although it does not cause damage).

Muton’s use these axes with great gusto in combat, especially the berserker Muton’s. They are quite heavy, but strike horrific blows in combat. Many of the axes have been personalized by the Muton’s with clan markings or strange symbols, which typically only have significant meaning to the creature. If used by a non-Muton, it is a sure-fire way to gain the full attention, not to mention the wrath, of other Muton’s.
