Typically carried by Advent soldiers, but sometimes used by the Vipers and Mutons, the Magnetic rifle relies on powerful magnets to add an additional ‘oomph’ to the rounds being fired. The drawback is that the weapons consume a great deal of ammunition in a short period of time, and need to be reloaded often. The power behind the weapon is excellent for penetrating armor, and can often knock a target off its feet, thanks to the kinetic energy transfer from the rounds hitting the target.
