Saving Throw Will halves; Spell Resistance yes

This spell creates a necromantic link between the caster an her target, causing one's pain to be the other's. For the spell's duration, any hit point damage suffered by one is also suffered by the other. Likewise, any healing experienced by one is experienced by the other. The two do not share a single pool of hit points. If the target succeeds in their saving throw, hit point damage or healing by one is halved for the other. If either caster or target are on a different plane, this spell has no effect.

Legend tells of a more advanced version of its spell which allows the caster to establish a link between the target and a creature other than the caster.
