A Glossary for Knights-Marshal of the Commonwealth!

So one of the things that always happens as I develop a new setting is that I assemble a lexicon of words and phrases specific to that setting. Any world, or universe, will have its own glossary to describe the themes, concepts, items, fields of study, or other things specific to it.

Personally, I have always loved the glossaries that some fiction books provide, just as I like the Cast of Characters that the same works often include. The referential nature of both of these lists are often an important aid in keeping up with a work of fiction, especially if it stretches over more than a single volume. In an RPG, where immersion in the milieu of the game is first person - you have to portray someone in the setting, not just read about her - a glossary is more than a good idea, it is an absolute necessity.

And so the Glossary of Commonspace was born.

Now a caveat:

The Glossary of Commonspace is incomplete. I know that I will add more to it as the setting nears completion. But even incomplete it offers a peek into the universe of the Knights-Marshal, possibly from a different angle than material I have previously posted. I will update the pdf as I add more terms and phrases of significance.

And, while on the subject of updates, I will mention that I have updated Reetha Shartar, Thane Krios, and Rae Keth the Elohir Exile to their current versions. They are now fully compatible with the BASH Sci Fi Ultimate rules as I have them from Chris Rutkowsky of Basic Action Games. This is not to say that they will not change. But they are current. If you downloaded or viewed them before, you might want to give them another look. That being said, the changes required were quite minor, so you may not notice a big difference.
