Out of all the undead infected by the blood plague, the feral zombie is by far the most terrifying. Thanks to not only its speed, but its overall increased toughness, the creature is far deadlier than the regular feral, and they were bad enough.

Regular ferals growl and snarl, but blood plague ferals hiss like cats, and that is the extent of it. Anyone suffering actual hit-point damage from a blood plague feral has a chance to contract the disease from the creature.
