The food targeted by this spell looses all nutritional value and becomes incapable of sustaining whoever consumes it. Though the food will fill the belly of the consumer, the eater must check for starvation as if they had not eaten. So long as a creature continues to consume food cursed by this spell, they cannot recover from starvation. Purify food and drink can be used as a counterspell against empty calories.
