Donkey's Folly: A Nuisance Spell for Pathfinder

DonkeyPunch.jpg

The audience may love a slow thinker, but an ally with the wits, patience, and stubbornness of a donkey is a burden to his party. With a casting of donkey's folly you can reduce any intelligent being's mental faculties to the level of a braying jackass

DONKEY'S FOLLY

School transmutation; Level cleric 2, druid 2, paladin 2, ranger 2, sorcerer/wizard 2, antipaladin 1

Casting Time 1 standard action

Components V, S, M/DF (hairs or droppings from a donkey)

Range touch

Target creature touched

Duration 1 min./level

Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes

The transmuted creature becomes simpleminded, foolish, and lacking in common sense. The spell inflicts a -4 enhancement penalty to Wisdom, subtracting the usual penalty from Wisdom-related skills. Clerics, druids, and rangers (and other Wisdom-based spellcasters) who receive donkey's folly lose the ability to cast certain spells if their Wisdom is reduced below the minimum required to cast the spell in question. Additionally, the save DCs for their spells are likewise decreased. Target's of donkey's folly have a habit of braying like donkey when laughing.

Donkey's Folly counters and dispels owl's wisdom, and vice versa.
