At D-Infinity.net, we design and publish games, but we also follow others who do the same. Here is the rundown on some exciting games coming out this year!

Paizo Publishing wants to take your adventures off world with Starfinder, the Science Fiction adaptation of their popular Pathfinder Fantasy RPG! Their strong design skills should make this something special! Coming August 2017!

Clint Staples is currently working on a new rule system and setting for his tabletop RPG called Ragnarok! His Norn Die creates heroic moments but fate can easily turn fickle. AND the game is designed to allow you to take your RPG heroes onto the battlefield in larger conflicts! Follow his Design Blog to stay informed.

Bryce Whitacre dials up the derring-do, drawing inspiration from the classic Errol Flynn Robin Hood for Fearlight Games’ Hood: Swashbuckling Adventures in Sherwood RPG currently on Kickstarter! Some are saying it is one of the most likely games to make it to market this year, so feel free to get your hopes up.

Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition is the blockbuster of gaming, and their pre-painted miniatures shine in just about any tabletop RPG or minis game. Monster Menagerie II: Icons of the Realms!, is inspired by the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, which has been a back-drop for traditional and computer RPGs for decades. The forty-four figures in this set, featuring staples like kobolds and hobgoblins as well as more exotic creatures like the sphynx and the hippogriff, can enliven any game!

Chaosium is back at the helm of Runequest, tying it firmly to the fan favorite Glorantha setting by Greg Stafford, with a retooled, expanded ruleset for the new edition. Due out this year, you can follow the Design Diary to get a feel for the game’s development.

That’s all for now. Thanks for tuning in!
