New Sinister Boons for Dungeons and Dragons

Rank has its privileges, but also its pitfalls. We all know the old and new epic boons granted to adventurers at 20th level. What follows are epic boons of a sinister nature, perfect rewards for adventurers touched by darkness, corrupted by forces infernal, and hounded by their impending doom!

Boon of Black Blood

If your shaving throw against a necromancy spell that causes damage succeeds, you gain hit points equal to the damage you would normally take on a successful save. Any hit points gained in excess of your maximum become temporary hit points.

Boon of the Barrow

You have advantage on Stealth skill checks made in graveyards, within tombs, haunted places, and other environments where the dead are interred.

Boon of the Blood Butcher

When attacking with a bladed weapon you deal 1d4 bonus damage to living non-construct creatures that are below their maximum hit points.

Boon of the Crone

You have advantage on all saving throws made against curses and magical traps.

Boon of the Gravetongue

You may communicate with all undead as if you shared a language.

Boon of the Ghoul

You have advantage on Survival skill checks made in graveyards, within tombs, haunted places, and other environments where the dead are interred.

Boon of Hell’s Rejection

If you must fail four death saving throws to die instead of three.

Boon of the Nosferatu

When you take a short or long rest in a bed of grave soil you also gain the benefits of having ingested food and drink.
