Target one living creature with 7 HD or less
Duration 1 day/level or until discharged (D)
Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes
This spell effects the target as lesser geas except the target the target falls prone whenever it is commanded to sit. The target is free to stand up at any time, this spell only compels the act of sitting itself. If the target does not wish to sit when commanded, it is entitled to a Will save to resist the compulsion. The target is compelled to obey all commands to sit, not just commands issued by the caster. Gnolls, lycanthropes, hellhounds, and other creatures with canine attributes suffer a -5 circumstance penalty on all Will saves made to resist this spell and its effects.
Note: The target of down boy falls prone when commanded to "heel", "get down", "bow", or any other variation of sit.
