‘City Builder’ Platinum Edition Update #49: PDF Version Released!

Michael O. Varhola

We are excited to announce that we have just released the complete, 85-place, 240-page PDF version of the Platinum Edition of City Builder: A Guide to Designing Communities!

* We will begin the process for making print copies of City Builder available through DriveThruRPG in about two weeks and are holding off until then for a couple of reasons. One is so that backers will have the opportunity to provide feedback to us on it, to include things we might want to address before making print versions of the book available. Another is that there are about a dozen images in the current edition of the book that we will need to upgrade for purposes of including them in the print version (but because they are of sufficient quality for the PDF edition there was no reason to delay its release).

++ We have diligently reviewed the contents of this book multiple times but, with more than 120,000 words, it is possible that a few minor errors might have slipped through into the current edition! If so, we will want to correct them as soon as possible, so if you do catch anything you think needs fixing please email us about it at CityBuilder@skirmisher.com.

++ As soon as the print edition of City Builder is available we will immediately send to backers who will be receiving it instructions on how to obtain copies of it.

That’s it for now! We sincerely hope you are excited to receive this complete version of City Builder and that you find it to be as useful and enjoyable as we have intended it to be. We will be staying busy with this project for awhile yet, first getting it ready for print, and then moving on to the “In the Footsteps of Hercules” companion volume, which will include more than a dozen specific examples of the general sorts of places that appear in the core book.
