New Human Night Stalkers are simply a variation of the New Human breed. Physically they are almost identical to their closely-related cousins… They are universally large and possess great physical strength, and other than appearing to be male they are like their cousins, in fact non-gendered.

There are however two major differences between these mutants and their cousins. They have a light blue tint to their hard, leather-like flesh instead of the normal yellowish tinge found among the two breeds of New Humans.

The second difference is that these mutants possess the ability to turn completely invisible. This invisibility has a distinct advantage over control light waves, as it renders them invisible to all types of visual detection, which includes thermal, ultraviolet and so forth. Sound based detection will still pinpoint them however. On top of this, they are able to maintain this invisibility even during combat, giving them a distinct edge.

For the most part New Humans are hostile and dangerous creatures. But these mutants take the worst traits of the New Humans and push them just a little further. To top off the hostility that is common in their cousins, these mutants throw a mixture of paranoia as well as a distinct hatred of being seen.

There is only one way that these mutants will ever become visible, other than by the creature choosing to do so. They will also become visible if they take significant amounts of damage. Each time a Night Stalker takes up to 25% of their total hit points in damage, they are forced to make a save versus death or they become completely visible. Even if they make the save, each time they take damage after they reach this particular threshold, they are forced to make another save, with a cumulative -1 to the save each time they take damage. Upon death or being knocked unconscious they will become fully visible.

In combat these creatures will use their invisibility to their best advantage. They will rush in, attack with their fists or kicks, and then shrink away; always moving in different directions as to throw off any chance of an opponent might get in a lucky strike.

When they use ranged weapons, they never fire from the same place twice. Because of the nature of their mutation, they always try to stick to cover to prevent anyone from seeing the firearms they use. As a result they prefer to use weapons that have no visible signature, such as certain types of lasers or silenced firearms equipped with flash suppressors. Once they have made an attack they will immediately move to a new location, again changing direction at random in order to reduce the risk of being hit in return.

Unlike their cousins, these
